Life 'n' Things

I was reading a friend's blog today and was struck with the thought "hey maybe I should write a blog post." So here I am. I'm sitting in Pete's Coffee with a delicious sugar free soy mocha listening to Death Cab for Cutie and thinking about what should I write. Maybe about the stuff in my life... eh that's not terribly exciting these days. About deep thoughts... not really anything comes to mind. I guess what I am finding more and more is how much I enjoy the little things, like the smell of freshly brewed coffee or a nice Facebook wall post from a friend. I know God is doing big things in my life and the life of everyone around me, but He is also there in the small things, telling me what it is to live and be and I thank Him for my senses, my sensibility and His goodness. Maybe there will be more to come soon... or maybe not, but this is enough for now.
