Back in Uganda!

After many hours on a plane, I am back in Uganda!  It has been wonderful getting to wander about Kampala and rafting down the Nile near Jinja.  I am staying in the room that I spent my first night here in the office compound, along with another intern named Jill.  Our other housemates are Heather S, a 1st grade teacher at Heritage International School and Liz, an architect and long term volunteer with eMi, and Oreo a black and white kitty.  So far, I have really enjoyed getting reacquainted with Uganda, but every now and then I find myself thinking "I'll be here for 6 months? Dude, that's a long time."  But I am excited for my time here and the things that I couldn't learn anywhere else.  Praise God that He is here and has been here long before I came and will be here long after I leave!
