More Colorado Adventures!

So, I've now been in Colorado for almost a month. I've been rock climbing twice, bouldering once (low rock climbing without the ropes), backpacking, hiking, golfing, saw a baseball game (minor league team), played ultimate and volleyball, wandered around downtown Denver and Boulder. I've seen two kitties (daily), herds of elk, a goat, some marmots, and a few dogs (owned by the eMi staff). Overall a very good month. I've also had a number of bible studies, prayer times, worship sessions, and deep conversations with my fellow interns. I've baked peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, a broccoli cheddar bacon quiche, chocolate chip banana bread. I've had Korean food twice with the our two lovely Korean interns.. I learned to say thank you in Korean and then forgot it. I got my bass and will hopefully purchase an amp this evening. I decorated my cubicle and used up my Starbucks cards. I hope everyone reading this is as happy and contented as I am. Not to mention I am leaving for Uganda in A WEEK AND A HALF!!! It's starting to hit me how soon that is. I'm getting my shots today.... scary. Although the diseases they prevent are decidedly more scary.
