How Following God is Like Swing Dancing

So this idea came to me as I was in bed trying to go to sleep the other night and is actually pretty freaking cool, so to explain.

Following God is like swing dancing or at least following in swing dancing because it is all about trust. For example when I'm dancing alot of the time I have no idea what moves I'm doing, but the lead gives me the "universal signals" to turn this way or go over here and I really have no control if I'm a good follow. And the only way you can really improve is to practice and just do it over and over again, there is no "quick fix" to become the perfect swing dancer.

So God is like a ridiculously good lead that is very gentle. Some leads are a little bit too gentle, and don't communicate well with the follow, making it more difficult to tell what the lead is trying to get the follow to do. There are also leads that are too strong and have a tendency to tweak the follow's arm and force them to go the way they want, whether it is comfortable or not. But God is a good gentle follow, you just have to respond to His direction and you have a beautiful and wonderful dance.
